North Bay Fencing Academy
North Bay Fencing Academy hosts fencing tournaments. The club no longer offers regular classes; it is used to host local and regional fencing competitions.
Our director, Maestro Peter Burchard, has over forty years of expertise in the sport of fencing. Maestro Burchard is uniquely qualified as a Fencing Master, with degrees from both the United States Fencing Coaches' Association and the Military Masters' Program. Maestro Burchard has held the positions of President of USA Fencing, President of the USAF Coaches Association, and has served as a Director At Large for USA Fencing.
NBFA hosts tournaments in the three modern Olympic sport weapons:
